Thank you for visiting PhotoArtShowcase, I'm Andrew Syiek.  

My passion for photography emerged during childhood among a large, gregarious family in a neighborhood alive with the positive energy of many children. 

Growing up in New England provided an abundance of opportunity; Massachusetts became my playground, providing ample memorable moments given its great outdoors, rolling countryside, fabled forests, majestic mountains, rambling roads and roaring sea. 

Endowed with a curious, sensitive nature, I began recognizing and appreciating this plethora of diverse, complementary treasures early on.  

This background forms the foundation of my interest in people and places instilling a clear understanding that life presents a constant stream of fascinating, fleeting situations; many poignant moments bursting with meaning, thus worthy of immortality through the magic of photography.
